He started out his career as a performer, but he ended up behind the scenes. In Hairstory, he details his rise in the industry from aspiring singer to creative directing the hair for Fenty x Puma.
Romee Strijd, 23, was promoting the new Victoria’s Secret Summer Scent fragrance at Beverly Center in LA, when the gorgeous blonde model revealed exactly what she does to keep her amazing figure in tip-top shape. Romee spoke to HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY, sharing how she gets in shape for summer. “I’m trying to be in the best shape all year round — it’s easier. It’s about balance so I don’t feel like going super hard at one super moment. I also drink a lot of water because it just helps you to get everything going and move every day — even if it’s a walk,” she said.
As for how Romee gets her amazingly long legs, “I do a lot of pilates lately,” she shared. “I feel like that’s really good. And yoga to lengthen your legs out. I’ll try to do it three days a week. It really depends on my work schedule. I just uploaded my YouTube video on how to lengthen your legs.” The same applies for Romee’s toned arms, as she admitted, “It’s not that much about weights as it is the little movements until it really burns but I feel like it really works.”
Romee told HollywoodLife that it’s not just her workouts that keep her in shape, it’s all about the diet as well. A typical breakfast, lunch, and dinner for Romee includes, “Breakfast is toast with avocado and an egg then I’ll probably have a snack around 11, like a nice piece of fruit. Lunch is mostly a good carb, like brown rice with chicken or salmon and some vegetables and then I’ll have a juice in the afternoon. At dinnertime, I’ll make a big salad or pasta — Anything I feel like!” In fact, Romee loves pasta so much, she admitted her ideal date night would include pasta. “Cook for me! I love roasted veggies with a nice pasta, like a pasta pesto or a nice fish, salmon. I’m obsessed with salmon. When you put avocado in there, I’m sold!,” she admitted.
While Romee maintains her figure all year round, prepping for the iconic Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show obviously entails a more serious regimen. Romee admitted that she starts prepping for the show about two months in advance. “I don’t really cut out any food,” she admitted about pre-show prep. “I workout more often so I really need food to build some muscle. I definitely amp up my workouts and workout around 5 days a week for one and a half hours a day.”
Aside from sharing her fitness tips and tricks, Romee also revealed what she loves most about the new Victoria’s Secret scent, “I love that you can play around with the fragrance. When I go out for a date night, I like to go with Very Sexy or Bombshell. Bombshell is always good it’s our signature fragrance.” On the night of the fashion show, she amps her scent, “I love to feel confident and sexy so I would say one of the bolder ones. I would say Very Sexy, because you just want to step on the runway and feel like you own it. That’s the one that makes me confident.”

Bella Thorne also opted for subtle ruching when she attended the JT LeRoy premiere at the ArcLight Cinemas in Los Angeles on April 24. The Famous In Love alum looked gorgeous in the one shoulder LBD which she accessorized with plenty of silver necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings. She rounded out her look with strappy black heels.

Brielle Biermann has ditched her signature blonde locks for a much different color! She took to Instagram on May 21 to share a selfie video of herself with PINK hair. “Dyed my hair to match my shoes,” she wrote. “Comment & tell me if I should keep it or go back to blonde.” In the video, she also shows off her feet, which are inside a pair of pink slippers. Based on the caption, it doesn’t seem like Brielle is totally set on keeping this pink hair as a permanent look, but it’s definitely a big change from the hair we’re used to seeing on her!
Along with the pink hair, Brielle wore minimal makeup in the video, aside from some mascara and a light lip gloss. Her plump lips were still on full display, though, even without extra lip liner! Brielle has been open about the fact that she’s gotten filler in her lips, even though her mom, Kim Zolciak, wasn’t always supportive of it. “At the end of the day, with her lips, I wasn’t happy about it, but when she turned 18, I had no control over it,” Kim told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY earlier this year. “So I had two options: Either I tell her to go figure it out on her own, or I take her to the best place. And that’s what I did.”
We also spoke EXCLUSIVELY with Brielle, who told us that she plans on probably re-doing her “whole body” with plastic surgery one day. For years, fans have accused Brielle of already having various plastic surgery procedures done, but she insists that, so far, it’s only been her lips.
Kim and Brielle have always had a close relationship, and it’s no secret that they totally look like twins — although that’s changed a bit now since Brielle ditched the long blonde hair she got from her mama! Maybe Kim will just have to go pink, too!?
While the latest Keeping Up with the Kardashians trailer teased the rest of the 16th season, and showed the family’s response to the Jordyn Woods, 21, and Tristan Thompson, 28, kissing scandal, Jordyn was seen living her best life in London on May 26. The star posted pics of herself in a gorgeous white silk mini dress on Instagram Saturday night following the trailer that gave the KarJenner reaction to the scandal that rocked the world in mid-February.
Jordyn’s pics showed her in a mini silk dress, without a care in the world, and the young influencer looked beautiful! She posed in her spaghetti-strap dress while sitting on top of a bathtub. Jordyn wore her long black hair straight down, and had on a pink-brown eyeshadow look and winged eyeliner. She looked straight at the camera in the first shot, then smiled while looking down in the second.
“For you and Jordyn, it’s like a divorce,” Kris Jenner, 63, said in the teaser. “She f***** up,” Kylie Jenner, 21, responded in the clip. “Just know, I love you,” Kylie then said to her older sister involved with the scandal. While Khloé Kardashian, 34, shared her thoughts on Twitter about the kissing incident between her younger sister’s best friend and the father to her child, the world has yet to see the Good American co-founder’s full reaction.
While Jordyn did admit she made a mistake that night, we’re glad to see that the young star is moving on and finding happiness elsewhere. Hopefully, her and Kylie’s friendship can be amended, but for now, we’ll have to see how it all plays out on Keeping Up!
SZA was racially profiled earlier this month during a trip to Sephora in Calabasas and she subsequently lit up the makeup retailer up on Twitter.
“Can a b***h cop her Fenty in peace or whut,” the TDE songstress tweeted. She accused Sephora for following her around the store and even calling the police on her to make sure she wasn’t stealing product.
Needless to say, it got the Internet heated.
Now, Rihanna is trying to make things right. As Fenty’s top boss, RiRi sent a personal letter to SZA, acknowledging the incident in a way only the megastar entrepreneur could.
Taking to her social media, SZA shared the note she received from Rihanna, along with a Fenty gift card. “Go buy yo Fenty Beauty in peace sis! One love - Rihanna,” the note read. While we don’t know how much the card was worth, we can guess Rihanna didn’t scrimp on it.
"Tanks queen @badgirlriri," SZA wrote on the Instagram Story pic, accompanied with a few tear emojis.
At least this very unfortunate incident ended up with a happy ending. Hopefully those Sephora employees will do better in the future.
The 72nd Cannes Film Festival officially kicked off on May 14 and since then, we have been seeing some of the most beautiful red carpet looks from the stars. Aside from the gorgeous gowns the celebs have been wearing, we have seriously been loving the hair and makeup looks thus far. Selena Gomez, 26, kicked things off when she she arrived at the Palais des Festivals for The Dead Don’t Die premiere, which she stars in, on opening day, May 14, in a drop-dead-gorgeous white satin Louis Vuitton two-piece. The sleeveless bralette and matching maxi skirt hugged Selena’s petite frame perfectly, while the bustier top showed off massive cleavage. Cinching in her tiny waist was a thick white leather belt, while the side had a plunging hip-high slit that showed off Selena’s toned legs. She topped her look off with Bulgari jewels including a stunning diamond choker necklace and a pair of metallic silver ankle-strap sandals. The best part of her look, though was her glam. Her hair was slicked back into a tight updo, done by Marissa Marino, who twisted the back of Selena’s hair into a gorgeous bun. Meanwhile, her makeup, done by Hung Vanngo, was a light sultry smokey eye, with extra thick, dark black cat eyeliner. She topped off her look with a bright red lip, which completely tied her whole look together, and a pretty nude manicure by Tom Bachik.
Another one of our favorite looks came from Bella Hadid, 22, who also chose to rock an updo on two separate occasions. Bella first arrived at the Rocketman premiere on May 16 in an ethereal, sheer Dior Haute Couture white ball gown with large spirals of sun ray pleated tulle ruffles. The back was just as fabulous, as it was completely cutout, showing off her bare skin. Bella accessorized the all-white look with a pair of bedazzled heels and the most dazzling diamonds, adding chandelier earrings, a layered diamond bangle and sparkly rings. As for Bella’s glam, it was so classic, as the supermodel threw her brown hair into a sleek high messy bun, leaving one side of her hair slicked back and the other in a bouffant that was clipped back to the side, which was done by hairstylist, Danielle Priano. As for her makeup, Patrick Ta gave Bella a neutral look, adding a light burnt brown smokey eye, some mascara, a pretty soft matte brown lip and glowing gold highlighter, all from Dior Beauty. Just a day later, Bella arrived at the Pain and Glory premiere on May 17, in a sexy cutout red silk Roberto Cavalli gown with a massive slit on the side, which she paired with a super slicked back middle-parted bun done by Amanda Lee, who gave Bella an extra curly updo bun. Her makeup, done by Hung Vanngo, was stunning as well, as she rocked a light red smokey eye and a bright red lip.
Elle Fanning, 21, has been absolutely slaying Cannes and her look from the Les Miserables premiere on May 15, was by far her best look to-date, as she donned a beautiful floral Valentino Haute Couture Spring 2019 gown. The gorgeous jacquard ‘Rose Borbonica’ dress featured layers of ruffles and an insanely plunging V-neckline that ended all the way at her waist, as she went completely braless underneath. Elle topped her look off with Sophia Webster heels and Chopard jewels. Her makeup was done by Erin Ayanian Monroe, who dabbed on a light pink lip stain and glossy lids with wispy lashes. As for her hair, done by stylist, Jenda Alcorn, Elle threw her blonde hair into a low bun in the back with her blonde hair braided into a crown around her head, with gorgeous flowers nestled in the braid. The back of her bun featured more flowers, tucked away into her low chignon.

It seems like everyday there’s a new headline of a racist occurrence in the United States, but it’s always a bit more tragic when it involves minors.
That’s what reportedly happened in Boston. According to Marvelyne Lamy, a teacher at Davis Leadership Academy in Dorchester, Massachusetts, she took a group of her middle school students to the Boston Fine Arts Museum on May 14 and they learned more about American racism than any artifact taught them.
According to a Facebook post by Lamy, her class of students are all either African American or Latino and were profiled and the only group of people at the museum being followed by security (there were several groups of unaccompanied white people). There was also allegedly some overt racism as described by Lamy.
“At the very beginning of the tour, one of the staff gave an overview on what to expect and told the kids no food, no drink, and no watermelon,” she wrote. “Throughout our walk through, they followed us. Many of our students grew agitated. At the end, we went through the gender bending exhibit where the security guard followed our every movement.
“It got so bad that I started gathering our students so we could leave,’ she added, in part.

Two days after the Facebook post, the museum responded, claiming they’re investigating the incident and apologized for making the group uncomfortable.
“Marvelyne, we are so sorry about the experience your students had at the MFA. An investigation—carried out in partnership with your school—began within hours of your visit and is ongoing,” commented the Boston Fine Arts Museum’s Facebook page. “The Museum’s Leadership Team has written an open letter addressing the situation, with a formal apology to students, faculty, and parents. We are committed to doing the work it will take to ensure that all people who walk through our doors feel safe and are treated with respect.”
It isn’t clear what actions have actually been taken by the museum or if they’ve concluded their investigation. According to a comment from Monday (May 20), Marvelyne Lamy is attempting to spread awareness of the situation through letters by her students and local press.
Fans speculated Khloe Kardashian, 34, had a nose job after a video clip of her was released on May 17. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star appeared to have a completely different look during a guest appearance on her divorce lawyer Laura Wasser‘s podcast Divorce Sucks With Laura Wasser and fans were quick to point it out. HollywoodLife wanted to get to the bottom of this hot topic so we spoke EXCLUSIVELY with three experts who weighed in on the situation and seemed to agree with fans. Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Constantine Mendieta shared his professional opinion and said, “Khloe at some point for sure had a nose job…. she is looking like a rock star.”
Plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn EXCLUSIVELY spoke with HollywoodLife and agreed, “It looks like she’s had a nose job which shortened her nose and thinned it a bit. This is usually performed by removing cartilage from the end, causing it to also tilt up a bit. Her nose looked great before, so I question whether this was something that she really needed to have!” When asked if Khloe could have possible just had filler or if he believes she went under the knife, Dr. Youn replied, “Filler can alter the shape of a nose but cannot make it look shorter for the most part. Therefore, I suspect it’s due to surgery, not filler.”
Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Mccoy Moretz told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY that in his opinion, “This looks to be something that is completely available non-surgically with appropriate place of a filler material into the nasal tip, as well as Botox into the small muscles around the base of the nose,” he explained. “Botox weakens these muscles that elevate the nasal tip allowing the tip to descend to a more aesthetically pleasing labiocolumellar angle, which is the geometric angle drawn between the philtrum of the lip and nose. The filler is correcting which is, in my opinion, an obvious overly aggressive rhinoplasty she had in the past,” Dr. Moretz continued.

“This is something that an advanced injectable practitioner, such as myself, performs routinely. In my opinion this looks much more natural and aesthetically pleasing than her previous nasal appearance,” Dr. Moretz added. “Typical cost for this sort of non-surgical treatment begins around $1800-$2000 and goes up based off of complexity according to correction of post surgical or natural nasal deformity’s that are present, as well.”

Sophie Turner, 23, has been promoting her new film, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, where she stars as Jean Grey, an X-Men character who evolves into the Dark Phoenix. To promote the film, Sophie has been around the world and back in a slew of gorgeous outfits. Sophie’s most recent look was one of our favorites when she headed to a London photocall on May 22, in head-to-toe Louis Vuitton Resort 2020. She opted to wear a pair of high-waisted mom jeans styled with a tight white crop top. The sleeveless top featured a silver metal turtleneck and a scalloped hem lined with metal, showing off her bare toned abs. She topped her look off with huge silver hoop earrings and a pair of black pointy-toed pumps with the tips dipped in silver.
Just a day before, on May 21, she headed to another London photocall in yet another gorgeous Louis Vuitton Resort 2020 ensemble. She donned a strapless purple corset top that showed off ample cleavage, tucked into a high-waisted black and white striped skirt with a peplum overlay.
Since then, Sophie has rocked a slew of other gorgeous looks including her outfit for a press conference in Mexico City on May 15, when she rocked head-to-toe Louis Vuitton. She opted to wear a bright red printed silk button-down top with black patterns on it, which she tucked into a high-waisted, skintight black leather mini skirt. The leather mini cinched in her tiny waist, while the front was covered in cool intricate braiding. On top of her blouse, she wore a cropped black satin blazer with super high shoulders, topping her look off with a pair of black pumps with the front point dipped in gold.

Lisa Rinna, 55, may have just given up the hairstyle she’s kept for the last few decades, as she showed off a hot new ‘do on May 17. It’s not yet clear whether or not the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is wearing a wig, but Lisa took to Instagram to show off shoulder-length, wavy blonde locks and asked her followers, “What shall we name her?” And almost immediately, celebs started sharing their reactions — and suggestions. Lisa’s RHOBH co-star Dorit Kemsley said, “Name her GOALS,” while Kyle Richards wrote, “Omg”.
But Lisa’s RHOBH co-stars weren’t the only ones loving Lisa’s new look. Emma Roberts seems to be a fan, too. After seeing the pic, the Scream 4 star suggested Lisa name her new alter ego “Emma” (duh!), before she commented, “Wow queen”. Kim Kardashian, 38, and husband Kanye West, 41, looked chic and gorgeous while out together on a date night on May 23. The married couple enjoyed an evening at Giorgio Baldi, a luxurious Italian restaurant, while looking as fashionable as ever. On the outing, Kim wore a curve-hugging black mini dress that accentuated her tiny wiast and black gladiator high heels. She had in long black extensions and wore her hair in loose waves.
Kanye kept his outfit neutral as well. He wore a white t-shirt and black pants and a brown jacket on top. Kanye completed his look with black sneakers. The couple’s date night came two weeks after their fourth child, Psalm, was born. Kim and Kanye used a surrogate for Psalm’s birth, as they did for their third child, Chicago, 1.
The world definitely had a strong reaction to the name of their latest child. But for Kim and Kanye, “Psalm” works for them. “Faith is everything to Kanye, he has always had a very strong connection to the gospel and to Jesus, so although this name choice has come as a shock to a lot of people, it actually makes perfect sense,” a source close to the Kardashians EXCLUSIVELY revealed to HollywoodLife. “Kim loves the name and what it represents to them both. This is a blessed child, literally a gift from God and they are so overjoyed. There will be a big celebration and a christening at Sunday service when the times is right.”
Another source revealed that Kim and Kanye are already thinking about their next baby! “Kim is doing amazing with the new baby. Motherhood just comes so naturally to her and she has even told friends she would like to go for a fifth child,” the insider EXCLUSIVELY revealed to HL.
“If she does, it would be sooner rather than later, but right now, she’s just enjoying number 4,” our source continued. “Some of her closest friends have come over to the house since she’s busy nesting and just being a new mom. That’s because she’s under the fitness spell of longtime trainer Kira Stokes! The New York-based trainer, who teaches her “Stoked Method” weekly at NYSCLAB/BFX Studio and via her own app, Kira Stokes Fit, stopped by HollywoodLife to go through a series of her token moves that are sure to get you in tip-top shape for summer!
First, Kira started with deep squats but introduced her Stoked Method, by showing that ‘transitions matter’ when she added on broad jump forward from the squat, into a plank and then two shoulder taps. After finishing that combination and finding yourself in a plank, Kira suggests going into mountain climbers. “That combines the squat we did with a power movement and a core exercise. We don’t stop after we squat, you go right into the next movement,” she explained. “To make the most out of the time that we have, it’s a great way to work your body. Plus, when you go into those mountain climbers, you’re giving the muscles you worked in your squats some time to rest. It’s active rest.”
Another on-the-go workout Kira highly recommends, and said that her client Candace does often, especially when traveling, is the jump rope! “You have to have to have patience with yourself,” she said for clients taking on the jumprope for the first time. “When you jump, it becomes meditative! To get rid of a double jump, you should say out loud, ‘jump, jump, jump.'” She added, “There are so many times when we do cardio that we get into a steady state rut, when, even when you’re a runner, you run the same route, you run the same pace and you don’t realize you’re just doing the same thing every day. If you could get home and add the jumprope to it every day, you will notice your heart rate increase and challenge yourself.”

The gorgeous supermodel opted for a major change when she debuted front bangs and a super high ponytail. Kendall looked drop-dead-gorgeous when she rocked a skintight, strapless tan leather midi dress with a plunging slit on the side, showing off her long, lean legs. She paired the tight dress with clear PVC pumps, opting for a neutral, but beautiful look. The best part of her entire ensemble, though, was without a doubt her new bangs. Kendall pulls off the look perfectly as the bangs are blunt and in the front, covering her entire forehead, while the rest of her hair was thrown back into a high ponytail, putting the bangs on full display.
This isn’t the first time Kendall has rocked bangs, and the model has actually admitted on her show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, that her friends and fans actually love the way she looks with bangs and that she should keep them. She last had bangs back on February 4, when she posted a slew of selfies to Instagram on February 4, but her front bangs were much longer back then. Kendall has even rocked bangs years ago when she arrived on the red carpet at the 2015 American Music Awards, donning a messy bun updo with wispy front bangs.

Meanwhile, Khloe, rocked a slicked back, sleek low ponytail with an extra long, wavy pony, also done by hair stylist Andrew, while her glam was done by makeup artist, Wendi Miyake, who gave her a sexy smokey-eye and a nude lip. Khloe opted to go completely braless under a plunging cropped blazer, pairing the top with a pair of high-waisted, black satin cropped trousers.
