Summer is officially here & some of our favorite celebs have been rocking a ton of gorgeous new hairstyles, but one summer staple hair trend the stars love are braids!

Braids are the one hair trend that never go out of style and that’s because there are so many different ways to wear them. Whether it’s a regular braid, cornrows, or braided updos, they always look classic and chic. Summer is the season that everyone starts rocking braids, as it’s the perfect look on a hot day when you want to push all of your hair out of your face, and already, our fave stars have been rocking them. Rihanna, 31, just debuted her new braided hair in the best way possible, when she arrived at her Fenty Pop-Up Launch Party on June 18 at The Webster in New York City. Rihanna looked drop-dead-gorgeous in a sexy little Fenty Fuchsia Drawstring Satin Mini Dress, accessorized with the most fabulous David Webb jewels, but it was her gorgeous, long tight braids that stole the show. Rihanna’s hair was dyed a bright red and her tight braids were super thin and tight, starting at her scalp and ending all the way at her waist.

Another gorgeous way to rock a braid is in an updo, like Elle Fanning, 21, and Jessica Chastain, 42, proved. Elle looked beautiful at the Les Miserables premiere during Cannes Film Festival on May 15, in a floral Valentino Haute Couture Spring 2019 gown, while her hair, done by stylist, Jenda Alcorn, was thrown into a low bun in the back with her blonde hair braided into a crown around her head. Not only were gorgeous flowers nestled in the braid, they were also thrown into the back of her bun, which was secured with another braid, completing her ethereal look.

Jessica looked stunning at the X-Men: Dark Phoenix film premiere in LA on June 4 in an all-white ensemble, when she chose to throw her bright red hair up into an updo, which looked simple in the front, but was intricately braided in the back. Her bangs were left out in front of her face and swept to the side, while her bun was in the back and off to the side. The entire back of her hair was covered in tiny, thin braids that criss-crossed around the bun and secured it together.

Margot Robbie, 28, tried out a cool new twist on the trend when she rocked boho braids at a photocall for her film, Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, during the Cannes Film Festival on May 22. The gorgeous blonde actress had her hair down in loose, natural waves, while hairstylist, Bryce Scarlett, adding a few beach waves, parted her hair in the middle, and braided the two front pieces of her hair, which framed her face. Instead of securing the braids, the bottoms were left with no ties and just hung down, completing her easy, breezy look.

Another star who loves to rocks braids is Kylie Jenner, 21, who tried the trend at Coachella weekend two for Kanye West’s Sunday Service performance on Easter, April 21. In true Kylie style, she rocked the coolest braid ever by adding little charms to her extra long ponytail. Her hair was done by César DeLeön Ramirêz, who shared exactly how he got her look. To get her braid and jewels, Cesar used a 26-inch ponytail and natural sea shell glass charms. To start, Cesar slicked back her hair into a mid-crown ponytail using IGK Mistress Hydrating Hair Balm, which he said, “is perfect for a glossy, healthy looking slick back.” Then, he attached a 22-inch Wildform ponytail and braided it using IGK Rich Kid Coconut Oil Gel for a soft hold. Once the slicked back braid was in place, he added a bunch of the charms from top to bottom. The charms included little white crosses, and flat circular seashells. It looks like Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s pre-wedding dinner party in France is shaping up to be one star-studded event. Their closest family and friends arrived in style to the June 28 dinner party, rocking gorgeous all-white ensembles. Nick Jonas‘ wife Priyanka Chopra, 36, was one of the first to arrive, wearing a silky, strapless white number. The star was all smiles as she showed up to support her sister-in-law. Meanwhile, Game Of Thrones star Maisie Williams, 22, also looked incredible, opting for a tuxedo dress. The chic white mini made her vibrant pink hair pop all the more, and she looked ready for the night’s festivities!

Supermodel Ashley Graham, 31, was also in attendance, looking striking in a spaghetti-strap dress that hugged her famous curves. The plunging gown featured a v-neck design as well as a shimmering silver overlay. The runway maven kept her accessories simple, and stuck to the theme of white with a small clutch. She paired her look with strappy sandals that featured a nude hue. Her hubby, Justin Ervin, was seen on her arm.

Whether they’re dying their hair a new shade or rocking the hottest summer trend – beach waves – the stars are constantly surprising us. The latest hairstyle trend that a ton of stars seem to love is the updo and everyone from Bella Hadid, 22, to Taylor Swift, 29, has been rocking the look. Bella has been rocking updos everywhere lately, but she especially wore her hair up while she was at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival back in May. Bella chose to rock an updo on two separate occasions, and she first arrived at the Rocketman premiere on May 16 in an ethereal, sheer Dior Haute Couture white ball gown with large spirals of sun ray pleated tulle ruffles. The back was just as fabulous, as it was completely cutout, showing off her bare skin. Bella’s classic glam was the best part of her look, though,as the supermodel threw her brown hair into a sleek high bun, leaving one side of her hair slicked back and the other in a bouffant that was clipped back to the side, which was done by hairstylist, Danielle Priano. As for her makeup, Patrick Ta gave Bella a neutral look, adding a light burnt brown smokey eye, some mascara, a pretty soft matte brown lip and glowing gold highlighter, all from Dior Beauty. Just a day later, Bella arrived at the Pain and Glory premiere on May 17, in a sexy cutout red silk Roberto Cavalli gown with a massive slit on the side, which she paired with a super slicked back middle-parted bun done by Amanda Lee, who gave Bella an extra curly updo bun, with her hair slicked back so tight, not one hair was out of place. Her makeup, done by Hung Vanngo, was stunning as well, as she rocked a light red smokey eye and a bright red lip.

Taylor rocked a pretty little feminine updo when she was in Paris on May 25 in a floral yellow, $358 Self-Portrait mini dress with a short pleated skirt. Taylor accessorized her bright ensemble with a pair of custom Kallati Morganite Cluster Earrings, a Sydney Evan Gold & Pavé Diamond Double Heart Ring, and peep-toe, ankle-strap yellow Jimmy Choo Peachy Platform Sandals, a metallic silver manicure and pedicure, and a gorgeous updo. For her updo, Taylor chose to throw her blonde hair up into a soft bun, keeping her bangs out in front of her face, and leaving a few pieces of hair out of the bun on the sides, for an effortless look.

Selena Gomez, 26, also rocked a few sexy updos while at Cannes, but our favorite was when she arrived at the Palais des Festivals for The Dead Don’t Die premiere, which she stars in, on opening day, May 14, in a drop-dead-gorgeous white satin Louis Vuitton two-piece and Bulgari jewels. The best part of her look, though was her glam. Her hair was slicked back into a tight updo, done by Marissa Marino, who twisted the back of Selena’s hair into a gorgeous bun, leaving the crown of her head super gelled back and tight. Meanwhile, her makeup, done by Hung Vanngo, was a light sultry smokey eye, with extra thick, dark black cat eyeliner.

Emily Ratajkowski, 28, knocked out two trends at once, when she rocked an updo at Vertical Entertainment’s Special Screening of her highly anticipated new film, Lying & Stealing, on Monday, June 17, proving that a messy bun can be fancy. Emily looked gorgeous in a sleeveless white Narciso Rodriguez Spring 2020 gown that was draped across her petite frame perfectly, featuring a plunging V-neckline that showed off ample cleavage, while the bodice was loose-fitting and wrapped in the front. Emily chose to go au naturel with her hair, when she threw it up into a loose updo bun, parting the front of her hair in the middle, leaving two pieces out to frame her face. The almost newlyweds headed to a pre-wedding dinner at Hotel Crillon le Brave on Friday, June 28, when they looked amazing in their outfits. Sophie opted to wear a sleeveless, skintight white gown, with a tight scoop-neckline that showed off ample cleavage. The silky gown hugged her petite frame perfectly, as the silhouette highlighted her toned figure, while flowing out at the bottom into a straight, flowy skirt. The actress topped off her outfit with a pair of simple, metallic gold ankle-strap sandals, opting out of any other accessories, letting the dress speak for itself. The couple looked fabulous together and they’ve been having the most amazing week in France, celebrating their wedding with friends and family. Just one day earlier, on June 27, the couple arrived at their wedding venue, the Château de Tourreau, in Sarrians, France, when Sophie looked gorgeous in a pair of fitted, high-waisted cream trousers with a tiny cream tank top tucked in and a massive Celine tote bag. Extensions have so many pros — like making your hair look fuller and longer — but they can also damage your hair with glue, look super fake and sometimes the colors just don’t match at all! Beloved celebrity colorist and extension queen Kacey Welch saw the need for a healthier approach to extensions and developed her own method that she now teaches to stylists across the country, and performs on her own A-list clientele. “I started doing extensions about 10 or 12 years ago, and I saw that I was literally ruining people’s hair. It was too much glue, too much heat, too much of everything,” Kacey explained in an EXCLUSIVE interview with HollywoodLife. “I knew that there was a way to sew hair into peoples heads, because people have been doing it for ages, so Kate Hudson was one of my very first clients, and she said, ‘I’m not doing glue, I’m not doing heat, figure it out.’ So, I just started figuring it out.”

Kacey developed a method that uses the hand-tied method with her silk wefts that allow for customization when it comes to size and color, with her brilliant approach to shades. “I’ve designed 6 colors, which I know doesn’t seem like very much, but because of the way that they’re rooted, there’s a darker root, then there’s balayage pieces going through the bottom,” she explained. “They’re pretty universal for most people.” Additionally, Kacey sells darker tones, which is not necessarily common for extensions. “You can add bleach, you can make it look ombré, you can do many, many, many different things with them,” she said. “I’ve tried really hard to take a lot of the stress away from the hairdresser when it comes to extension and kind of just oversimplify everything, put it in a box and give it to them.”

Additionally, most hand-tied extensions have a beads with the wefts sewn in, but Kacey’s method brings the beads close together which eliminates balding at the bead points and pulling, which is great for fine hair. Also, the hair is strung between the beads instead of using the string and this creates a stronger foundation. Kacey’s own line of silk wefts are also game-changing, and not only because of their color! “My pieces they all come 13 inches wide, and you can cut them exactly how you want them, unlike typical hand-tied wefts. You can cut them to the length and the circumference of your head that you need,” she explained. “This hair is 100% human hair, it’s super high quality, you really would treat it the way you treat your own hair. You would use all the same products, you can use all kinds of conditioning treatments. There’s not a lot of restrictions, but it’s my responsibility as a hairdresser to educate my client.”

“I think that there’s a huge market for women who just want to add a little bit of volume, they just want to add a little bit of body. And I think what happens is, when you sew in one silk weft or even two silk wefts, it makes women feel younger, prettier, sexier,” Kacey added. “And because they’re so comfortable, and because they’re so low-maintenance, it’s just one of these things where we’ve added onto our beauty routine.”

Kacey has a full directory on her website of the stylists across the country that she has taught her method to. “I really want to support my artists in building their businesses, and that’s been such a joy for me, to mentor these people and other hairdressers and teach them not only how to do good extensions, but also how to build strong businesses,” she explained, revealing she’s trained about 180 people in her last year. Zendaya absolutely stole the show at the ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ world premiere in LA on June26, but it was her sexy cutout green gown for the after party that seriously caught our attention.

Zendaya, 22, has been slaying all of her press tour looks for her new film, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and she rocked two insanely sexy dresses for the world premiere of the film at TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Tuesday, June 26. The stunning actress, who plays MJ Jones in the film, kicked off the night with a bang when she wore a sexy red and black sequin Armani Prive Spring 2019 gown with cutouts and a completely open back. Later that evening, however, she headed to the after party when she slipped into an even sexier look, opting to wear a forest green fringe Balmain gown with gaping cutouts on the side. The knit halter neck dress featured a turtleneck and a skintight bodice that was cutout on her chest to reveal ample cleavage. Meanwhile, the rest of the bodice was completely cutout with just a small mesh panel covering the front of her stomach. Zendaya revealed her amazingly toned abs in the cutouts which were wide-open, also showing off her tiny waist. The rest of the gorgeous dress flowed down into a straight, fitted skirt that was made up of tiered layers of fringe, that hung down her gorgeous, slim long figure. She accessorized the look with massive gold coin drop earrings and her bright red hair down and parted in the middle, in loose waves.

Zendaya looked so fabulous in both of her dresses that evening, we can’t decide which one we liked better. For the actual premiere, she stepped out on the red carpet wearing the slinky red and black sequin dress which highlighted her toned frame perfectly. The bodice of the dress was made up of red sequins with gaping cutouts on the sides, as the rest of the frock flowed into the long, fitted mermaid skirt which was made of black sequins. The best part of the look, though, was without a doubt the completely open back, which ended all the way at her behind. She topped her look off with black pointy-toed pumps, a sultry black smokey eye, and her red hair straight, sleek and parted in the middle.

These dresses are just two of the many gorgeous looks Zendaya has been wearing to promote the film, and she has been on an absolute roll when it comes to her press tour style. It’s an effective way to work out without using too much equipment,” Megan said. “I think a lot of people believe that they need to get fancy with their exercises and their classes, but really if you’re using your body weight, you can see great results.”

The only equipment you’ll really want is Megan’s Sculpt Society Sliders, that add some extra heat to your lunges, planks and squats! “It makes for a really great summer workout,” she advised. “Everyone’s traveling so much — you can just have your sliders in your bag. The actress wore a long-sleeve oversized satin blue button-down top which she chose to button the top three buttons, leaving the rest unbuttoned, showing off her rock hard abs. She paired the long baggy blouse with the matching high-waisted baggy wide-leg trousers and completed her look with a pair of CASADEI green suede pointed-toe pumps with black Blade heels. Michelle Obama has been enjoying her week-long family vacation in France & the former first lady let her hair down in natural gorgeous curls for dinner on June 19.

The Obamas seem to be having an amazing time on their week-long family vacation in the South of France, and Michelle Obama, 55, looked gorgeous while on a date night with former President, Barack Obama, 57. The couple went out to eat at famous restaurant, L’Oustau de Baumaniere, in Les Baux de Provence on June 19, when Michelle opted to let loose, letting her hair naturally down in gorgeous, voluminous curls. Michelle completed her dinner look with a sleeveless black maxi dress that had a baggy bodice and ruched elastic belt that cinched in her waist, a cozy oversized black sweater, which she wore during dinner, a metallic gold knitted crossbody purse, and a pair of huge thick gold hoop earrings. We rarely see Michelle with her natural hair, as she always has it done in a perfect blowout, so it was refreshing to see her gorgeous natural curls down and bouncing around.

Ever since the Obamas kicked off their vacation in Avignon, France on June 16, they have been out and about in amazing outfits while doing a ton of fun activities. Just yesterday, Barack and his daughter, Malia, 20, went on a hiking trip in the hilltop village of Gordes on June 18. Malia opted to wear a pair of high-waisted black paper-bag shorts which she paired with a tiny little white sports bra, showing off her toned figure. Barack on the other hand, opted to wear a pair of gray shorts with a black polo shirt and a gray baseball cap.

Michelle and Malia visited famous vineyard and chateau, Château Vaudieu, in the Provence region of France on June 17, when Michelle opted to wear quite the chic ensemble. Michelle threw on a sleeveless brown maxi dress with a low-cut V-neckline and a scrunched elastic belt that cinched in her waist. The rest of the frock flowed out into a long, flowy pleated skirt and she accessorized with a fabulous straw hat, layered gold necklaces, a black leather crossbody purse, and amazing black wedges that laced up her ankles.

Meanwhile, Malia looked just as chic for the vineyard outing when she threw on a pair of high-waisted dark straight-leg jeans paired with a tiny white floral spaghetti strap tank top. Malia’s scrunched top was super cropped and form-fitting, showing off her taut tummy, and she accessorized with a black leather belt with a huge silver buckle, and a pair of purple ankle-strap heels. Mother Monster was one hot leather mama on June 24. Lady Gaga, 33, left onlookers gagged when she stepped out on the streets of New York City in a fierce all-black leather ensemble. The A Star Is Born actress rocked a leather tube/crop top with a matching dress. She accessorized the look with a pair of full-length gloves, high-heel fetish boots and a black bag – all made out of leather. The only part of Gaga’s outfit that wasn’t leather was her sunglasses. Overall, the look merged red carpet extravaganza with the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally – and it was totally fabulous.

He’ll be doing HIIT because it really helps burn fat and up your metabolism and that’s what Rob wants. His goals are realistic, he’s not expecting to have his six pack back in one month but ultimately that’s his goal, he would love to have a six pack again.”

Emily chose to go au naturel with her hair, when she threw it up into a messy bun, parting the front of her hair in the middle, leaving two pieces out to frame her face.

The bodice of the gown was super revealing, with just two panels covering her chest, as a gaping cutout on the front showed off her rock hard abs. Paris’s tiny waist was cinched in with a gathered belt, while the bottom half of the gown featured a semi-sheer wrap skirt with an insanely plunging slit on the front, showing off her long, toned and tan legs. Paris accessorized her sparkly dress with a pair of pointy-toed bedazzled pumps and gorgeous diamond jewels. As for her glam, she left her blonde hair down in loose, effortless waves, with one side clipped back, and added voluminous lashes and a glossy pink lip.

Jokes aside, Rihanna is dedicated to spreading her new fashion empire and ready-to-wear pieces across the globe. She officially introduced Fenty to shoppers with a pop-up shop in Paris, France on May 24, and then launched the brand’s website on May 29.
